The final post from the Christmas Holidays!

What can I say? We had such a wonderful Christmas season and were able to spend time with all our family, so 1 busy busy month and 4 Christmases later, the final post has arrived!
We celebrated Christmas with my mother and brother early in December. Then we had Christmas with just our little family of four on Christmas day. We woke up super early the next day to spend a few days with Jim's family. Just before the New Year we pulled into our driveway, followed by Grandbob and Grandlau! And they came bearing gifts.
I cannot lie, I love all this family spoiling of my boys. It's good stuff.
Noel worked the system and was able to get cuddled and open presents at the same time!

The Grand's got the boys a mini roller coaster which will be lots of fun for years to come. As the weather was unseasonably warm, it seemed only right to test out the new ride. Ben was joyous!

After we tucked the little bug into bed for the evening, we began the New Year's celebrations.
We didn't expect Ben to stay up until mid-night, so we blew horns and popped poppers just after dinner (which included ham and black-eyed-pea's of course.)
Ben loved the noise!
It was the perfect close to a great month spent with family and friends. It was also a great way to begin a new year. Happy New year to you all! I hope this will be a blessed year for you and yours.
